This "cool moisture," three-speed humidifier incorporates modern aesthetics and digital read-out, two rather unique features compared to other units in the marketplace. In dry-room conditions, the unit needed to be on its "high" setting to raise the humidity of an 8X10-foot room above 28 percent (starting at 26 percent) in less than an hour. On that same setting, the humidity level was raised to 34 percent in five hours with the room's door open. With the door closed, the humidity level was pushed to 37 percent in the same amount of time. The humidifier is oval in shape and white with gray accents, including a metallic gray control panel. The digital read-out on that panel displays the humidity level, a helpful bit of information not provided on many other products available. The digital display also can serve as a nightlight. A refill indicator signal lights to tell the user the water reservoir is empty.
